About Me

Professionally

I hold a BTech, MBA, and PhD, combining technical depth with managerial and research perspectives. My career spans leadership roles in leading multinational corporations as well as founding and scaling technology-driven ventures.

I have led strategic business units, built new capabilities, and worked closely with global customers, regulators, clinicians, engineers, and policymakers.

My Journey

I began as an engineer fascinated by how systems work. Over time, my curiosity expanded from machines to organizations, markets, and human behavior.

As my roles grew—from technical leadership to strategic business unit head—I found myself increasingly drawn to questions beyond execution:

  • Why do some technologies succeed while others fail?
  • How do incentives shape decision-making?
  • What responsibilities do technologists carry toward society?

These questions eventually led me to entrepreneurship, healthcare innovation, deep tech research, and now, a strong pull toward teaching and applied academia.

Philosophy of Work

I believe technology should be:

  • Human-centered, not novelty-driven
  • Ethical, especially in healthcare
  • Grounded in reality, not hype
  • In service of long-term value, not short-term metrics

My work reflects a balance between ambition and responsibility.

Technology & Ventures

Technology Company

I lead and advise technology initiatives focused on building scalable, reliable platforms that solve real-world problems. My role typically spans vision, architecture, strategy, and leadership—bridging engineering execution with business outcomes.

I am particularly interested in systems that operate under constraints: regulatory, physical, or societal.

HealthTech Initiatives

My health technology work centers on:

  • Remote patient monitoring
  • Telemedicine platforms
  • AI-assisted care delivery
  • Home-based and preventive healthcare models

Healthcare demands humility. Innovation here is not about disruption alone—it is about trust, safety, and outcomes. I approach HealthTech with a long-term, patient-first mindset.

Deep Tech & Frontier Work

I am actively involved in deep technology initiatives, including hardware-intensive and research-driven innovation.

This includes:

  • Medical imaging and sensing technologies
  • AI-driven diagnostics
  • Low-field and resource-efficient systems
  • Patent-led innovation

Deep tech requires patience, interdisciplinary thinking, and close collaboration between industry and academia—an approach I strongly advocate.

Academic & Teaching Initiatives

Teaching Philosophy

I am deeply interested in working with universities and colleges, where industry experience meets academic rigor.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in:

  • Practice-driven learning
  • Case-based discussion
  • First-principles thinking
  • Ethical reflection

I believe students learn best when theory is anchored in real decisions, real constraints, and real consequences.
